Created in 2013, when they were assistant chapter directors in Florida, the Order of the Red Spoon (c) quickly became a hit with the riders and co-riders who chose to “come ride with us” from across the globe.
It has morphed into a “can you see us now” effort; a Motorcycle Awareness activity, if you will, to attempt to modify the perception of the general public as to what it is to be a motorcycle rider/enthusiast.
When the see us “having FUN” at a DQ, we are no longer perceived as the bad boy biker & biker babe, but a humans enjoying riding and our friends, SAFELY.

The Order of the Red Spoon (c) is the “Come Ride With Us” program, designed by Tom & Linda Mitchell, (Chapter Directors of Oregon Chapter G and Oregon District Directors.), duly recognized by Dairy Queen International and Eagle Wings Motorcycle Association.
The program begins with a sponsored ride by Chapter OR-G in a particular area, followed by a short “ceremony” where the participants are “inducted into the Order of the Red Spoon (c).”
A commemorative patch is purchased for a nominal fee, to be adhered to a vest or other article. Each time a now inducted “Squire” participates in an ORS ride, they are presented a star to adorn their patch. Stars 1-5 represent a ‘squire’, 6-10 represent a ‘knight’ and (11) represents a ‘lord’ or ‘lady’.
(A photo of a previous version of the ORS patch with associated stars in available in the Gallery, under Order of the Red Spoon (c).
The administrator and “Royal Wizard” will post a roster of participants, along with their region, district and chapter on this web site.
Ranking is also shared.
A group photograph is also uploaded to the site with no printing reservations, should you want a record of your “induction”.
